A friend of mine has painted his trackbike with rattle cans and to be fair has done a half decent job, it doesnt really have much shine to it so ive suggested i could maybe go over it with a few coats of lacquer but the more i think about it the more i can see it going tits up and reacting badly. So can this been done? i was thinking as he hasn't put any decals on yet then a quick go over with some fine scotch pad, lay the decals on and then lacquer over, or am i asking for trouble?
