now have orange peel
But now you know how to deal with it. Pressure 2 Bar, then leave it alone until you understand its effects. That way you have fewer variables.

How much thinners do you like for OC? Having trouble getting it to lay flat with 5% but anymore and it wants to run. Even better if you know the time it takes for your AC to run through a din 4 cup. TDS says 20-22 seconds for both AC and OC but I expect yours will be quicker.AC or OC?
I use AC on pretty much everything direct gloss.
Mixed to 20% thinners with MS25 hardner
1.3mm tip
Full fan
Full flow
I feel its a little dry still on the 2nd and 3rd coat almost as if the thinners or hardener is going off in the cup.
I'll try slow hardener next and if not I might step up to 1.4mm soon to try that.
How come you stepped down from the 20% in the previous post? Was it too runnyI don't use OC anymore as it's not really suitable for flattening and polishing.
AC I use 10% thinners, full fan all the time unless in a boot area/under wings and I need to shoot a big distance.
30 to 35psi
1.3mm tip
My walcom gun is pretty maxed out with the needle adjustment
OC and AC are different paint types made by MIPA
Not sure how. It's MIPA OC mixed with Mipa Multi mat as per this TDS. Only thing is I'm using MS hardener. But I phoned MIPA technical and they said this was fineThat has all the signs of incompatibility
