250A single phase options

I'm considering getting a 250A inverter single phase machine for a number of reasons.

I'm looking at either a warrior 250 from phil weeks or an r-tech 250.

Does anyone have any experience/thoughts with either? The idea of a inductance control on the warrior would be nice.

I'm not too fussed about the low end, as I'll keep my 150a 'bodywork' mig for sheet work.

I have the R tech 180 and I really like it, the 250 goes as low as that and that's perfect for body work thickness.. Cant comment on the warrior, but they do look interesting..

Portamig do models up to 405 amp single phase.
I know where I'd be spending my money despite others may have a good warranty for when not if it breaks down

Forgot to mention, I'm only looking at inverter machines, portability is a must for this.

Regarding reliability, I have 3x Chinese machines, one of them being an r tech and have never had problems with any of them over 6 years of ownership. Chinese stuff doesn't bother me.

From what I gather it is a built in feature on most decent inverters

Nothing in the manual, no nob on the front panel or inside the cover, leads me to suspect it doesn't have inductance control. Shame

I was looking at your mig review and noticed you pulled the gun , I was always under the impression you pushed the gun , well that's what I was taught , is there a reason you pull or is it just a ha bit you got into.
And I'd like to say what a great channel you have on YouTube , very impressive .

I sometimes push sometimes pull the gun
It is easier to video pulling
Yes my youtube is doing well

Pushing the gun will give more penetration.
