24 volt charger

Hi peeps ,long time no post.
i have a rolson 24 volt impact wrench,unfortunatley i killed the charger by trying to charge my 18 volt drill with it...they look the about same
so my question is...can i charge the nicads in the wrench with a lead acid charger meant for an electric wheel chair or has anyone got an old charger for said wrench they want to sell ?.

You can use a current limited variable power supply set the voltage slightly higher and limit the current to few milli amps

First one yes it's how we charge a couple of things at work (boss got cheep drill from DIY shop but no charger!)
