HI this is my first post new to this forum Ive been into my local machine mart to day looking and priceing mig welders. The man in the shop told me theres one comming in the shop friday been faulty and repaired at machine mart workshop. Its a 205 TE normal price 359exc vat This machine will be sold for £205 6months warrenty has any member got one of these and what they like. thanks

I can't comment on the 205TE, but I do have a 150TE and am absolutely over the moon with it.
The consensus of opinion is that all of the Clakrke welders are great little units - and my own experience definitely bears that out.
Given that I paid more for my 150 than you are being offered the 205 for, it sounds like a real bargain - especially with 6 months warranty on it.
Let's face it, you could spend that much on an inferior second hand unit from the bay of E and not get any guarantee at all.
