2 year old scab on my hand

It all started over 2 years ago as a cut on the back of my right mitt and its never healed up,why????....ile tell you why,its because every f$&$£in time i clean my lathe i always catch the back of my hand on a bit of tooling in the tool post

you can buy things with bits that slip over your fingers and palms and cover the backs of your hands I think there called GLOVES , they might do you a turn !

You could put the glove over the tool post, but I don't know how you would be on from a h&s point of view seen as the rotating machinery will be wearing gloves and may hurt itself.
