2 buy or not 2 buy?!.....

hey! was wondering if anyone could help me out?! in the market for a fairly industrial bandsaw at the moment! just 1 snag! it has to be single phase!! this as im sure u can imagine greatly limits my choice!! looked at a few saws and was fairly keen on a sealey SM355CE but dont really no very much about them!! if anyone has any experience of such a machine some advice would be greatly recived!! thanks!!

my mate who runs a model making firm has an large Axminster bandsaw which is really good single phase.

never seen those bmc saws before! do u know anything about them?!.. looked at an axminister saw aswell and to all intents and purposes it looks 2 be identical 2 the sealey! a baileigh saw also looks identical! is it possible that all these saws are made by 1 firm and just badged differently?!....

don't know anything about them they seem to sell mostly to industry so not your diy gear they have a smaller saw for the diy market http://www.donedeal.ie/for-sale/tools/1927825 witch i have my eye on but doesn't cut 60%

we have a ajax at work its not as robust as our big 3ph unit but with a bit of care cuts well and doubles up as a vertical but as its on wheels it has a habbit of moveing as your cutting in vertical

been askin about a bit bout those saws andi it appears that there actually called fmb! theres a man not far away from me has 3 of them but there all 3 phase! and fairly new so its hard 2 say wot the reliability would be like! really looking for a pull down saw not really that fussed on a gravity down feed!

the ones at work have hydrolic drop but i often use it hand feed unless i'm cutting big stuff
