Not to bad considering its galavanised, even grinding it there always seems to be a trace left, which explains why the weld looks black. Take care when playing with that stuff as the fumes arent good for you
nothing wrong with playing on a bit of galv if thats all that is to hand. You will get better results on a nice clean bit of steel. So if you can produce results similar to that on galv sheet imagine what you can do on clean steel. Try and keep the travel speed as constant as possible and the distance from torch to work piece constant, and you will produce great results. In the middle you were moving a little slower than at the left hand side, and the middle is where you have the greatest penetration. of course travel speed varies depending how thick the material you are welding is, but it looks good
