1933 Subeam cylinder head fin repairs

Here's a repair I did on an old Sunbeam motorbike. This was a serious challenge as it had 10 broken fins and they are cast iron. Made new fin tips and brazed them on. It was bloody tight for space.

There's not much wrong with pre - war Sunbeams.....

No the old fins were long gone. I made new ones from mild steel

Not easy to make such a good looking repair...
