Hi everyone. Been a while since I posted anything but thought I'd return with a restoration of a 1800s hand crank pillar drill.

Lol. No .just had the front cover shut on the unit

That's why I now use the phone camera now. My digital compact was a good spec panasonic but didn't cope well with poor light or close up photos.
The phone camera's auto correct does everything for me and you get a decent enough shot for posting on the web.

Any brass shims are shell case brass hammered and rolled to size.

Main handle may be a taper fit.
