I've finally got around to setting up the Mig i bought in November and i'm not sure if i've missed something obvious or i'm trying to complicate things!
I've put the 5kg spool on and added the spacer (about 30mm wide) onto the spindle as shown in the instructions. My problem is that the spool seems to be 'loose' on the spindle. When i wind the tensioner tighter, it is tensioning the spool, but the spool can still move side to side relatively freely. There was also a small spacer (about 15mm) behind the spool, should this have come out?
Silly question probably, but i'd rather check its correct before i get started!
