151TE (Turbo)

Hiya guys.

I've been wondering recently (I know it's a dangerous game); can my Clarke 151TE (Turbo) aid me in welding some aluminium alloy? Quite thin stuff, in fact I actually need to fill in a few gashes in some air filter pipe - originally boost hose - on my car. This stuff in the picture below.

So firstly can my welder do it? Secondly, what other gear might I need? I've only done mild steel up to now. Thanks a lot for any help, Andy.

Not easy to MIG weld thin aluminium, either get it prepared and pay someone to TIG it, or make the pipe out of mildsteel.

Ah, not easy how? Is it too much heat for the metal - will I simply blow through?
