14 pin amphanol plug.

Does any of you knowledgeable chaps know if (spare/replacement) pins are available for the above plug as fitted to Miller and Lorch etc tig machine foot pedals, A friend that lives in France has some damage to the wiring in his plug and it needs re-wiring, The pins are usually soldered to the wires and then inserted into the plug body held in place by small barbs on the pins, Not intended to be removed. He may be able to re-solder in situ with a tiny iron, I believe that the complete plugs are around a ridiculous £50 + pounds each,

RS carry Amphenol bits but you need to know which series of connectors it is

I made a pin extractor for this type of plug from some thin walled tube and a rod. Push the tube into the connecting face of the pin to push the barbs back and then push the rod down the tube to eject the pin.

I think I've still got a few spares of the 14 pin miller connectors in the warehouse. Left over from a power station we did.

I'll have a look on Tuesday and let you know.

They fit some sockets but the wall is paper thin to get into the pin shroud.
These types of connectors have rip off prices, we buy quite a number but all have to have conformity paper work so price is even higher
