Can't remember exactly and can't be bothered to go out to the van to get my books but I think the 'new' voltage is 230V -6% +10%, which gives you between 216 and 253V single phase. As you said, there hasn't been any change at all here because the tolerance is enough for our voltage to fit in, it's only been done so we fit into the EC voltage range and cable colours as well, which is a total PITA.Following on from the above post. What is the correct voltage now since we went from 240 to 230v. I know we dint realy change any voltage as the margin of aceptable output was wide enough to cover old & new voltage.
So to recap
Voltage should be 230v but what is the new plus minus margin & what is the average voltage now? Will the sort out over voltage & what problems can it cause?
