Was at a loose end this evening waiting for the Chiron to finish a job so I chopped up a couple of bits of 10mm 5083 to see how the Parweld would cope. Wasn't expecting much but it seemed quite reasonable so thought I would slice it and etch it..
Current was full at 200Amps, Tungsten 3.2mm 2% Lanthanated and frequency was 70Hz.
No preheat and cut 15mm in from start of the single run (right in pic) Left in pic is 3 runs.
