100% silicone sealant?

after watching king of random's YouTube video, I'm after making some "proto putty".

the recipe calls for silicone sealant - but specifically "100%" silicone.

I've browsed shelves in been n queued plus the Screwfix + Toolstation catalogues and can't find a generic one?

any ideas?preferably less than the £9 a tube that Wilko want for "gorilla" brand!

for reference, I spoke to everbuild's technical department today.

450 and 825 are both "100% silicone"

also coleman fuel/naptha works apparently,
but xylene/gunwash is cheaper.

Apparently, if you dissolve it into naptha, and paint it onto a tent, you restore the waterproof silicone treatment that vanished the first week you used it.
It was on youtube, so it must be true.
I've been meaning to give it a go since I saw it on there.

does naptha dissolve nylon?

might be worth testing "on an inconspicuous area" first.

unless its a canvas tent.
