Welcome to the forumim looking to weld horse shoes ect together is 100amps mig gasless flux wire good enough to do the job
so would a 120 amp definatley do the jobWelcome to the forum
Should be ok for decorative horseshoes - see the tutorial for guidance on thickness over here: MIG Welder Buyers Guide (mig-welding.co.uk)
Of course, there is a world of difference between welding an ornament and welding something that needs to be structural. Don't think you'll have much difficulty, albeit gasless wire is never the best of options for anything.
Achhh... at the hobbyist level it becomes a less exact science. If you have two cheap allegedly-identical "100A" welders then one might effectively give out 85A and the other 110A.so would a 120 amp definatley do the job
From this description, you may be looking at a very cheap imported MIG, which will probably have no rectifier ( i.e. AC output ), no inductor, very limited and high power settings, and a low quality wire drive system. This can be confirmed if you provide a link to the type of machine that you are considering. If true, then please don't buy one of those, it would be a very bad introduction to welding.100amps mig gasless flux wire
