10 mm fine socket head allen key grub screws x 45 or 50 mm long

I'm looking for quantity ten High Tensile 14.9 , DIN 916 , 10 mm fine metric grub screws with female socket heads 45 to 50 mm long
It is to replace the rubbish long grub screws on my ten lathe tool holder clamps that fit my QCTP .

I nipped the locking nut adjuster up on one this afternoon & wheeeee! ... it stripped the thread on both the nut & the grub screw . " I was only pulling the 17 mm spanner with two fingers ....... honest Boss "

I've located & purchased ten new 10 mm metric fine high tensile steel DIN 916 nuts for pennies but can't find the long grub screws anywhere on eBay .

Two days ago I had to chose to replace all 36 of the short 35 mm long female Allen headed grub screws that actually hold the cutting tool in the tool holder for the same reason the threds fell off them or the shallow Allen key female socket tore out ..
Locally they were going to cost me £40 plus Vat & take two weeks to arrive .
I got them in my hands this morning from an eBay company 41 x 40 mm x 10 mm metric female head allen screws DIN 916 for £ 11 .28 including P&P as a next day delivery .


If anyone knows where I can get such long grub screws would you let me have the contact details .. I don't want to spend £36 ish on ten studs but needs might make it a possibility .
I can get Stainless high tensile 10 mm fine studding @ £9.96 per 300 mm + P+P which should stud lock in the holders

The other way I was looking at things was the raised male Allen key or square ends on grub screws but I don't know how these are described or if they are actually available .

That 300 mm £ 9.96 fine stainless studding suddenly starts to look good .

Make them from silver steel. Rotary broach hex. Harden and temper.

How much for a hexagonal rotary broach ? I think buying the studs bespoke made would he less than half price of the £495 & £ 90 carriage to the UK from USA

I can use locked nuts to insert the studs , putting the adjuster & adjuster lock nut on first , then loctite the top two lock-nuts on .
All the top device ( female hex hole ) is for is to insert an Allen key to stop the stud unscrewing if the adjustable locknut is tight .

I doubt that there is going to be much tension on the studding for when the QCTP is locked , friction will also hold the cutting tool holder in place to a larger degree .
