As posted in the today I acquired thread, I got myself a 10 inch rotary table. The bloke told me it needed taking apart and some tlc and so dutifully I have begun.
However I have begun unstuck.
I've taken out the handle and the screw thread and in trying to get the table off.
I've got two pieces that have come off the back of it, and there are now two more bits that I'm confused about. It looks like the outer ring has been hammered at before and moves fairly easily after being tapped round with a small punch, although it doesn't seem like it's unscrewing out any more.
The inner one really doesn't want to move, and it also doesn't look like it's been hammered at, which scares me from having a crack at it same as I have with the other ones. I did have a good tap but no hint of movement.
Really looks like that'll have to come off to get the table off, but I can't work out how to have a go at it, maybe it need a a specialist wrench, but wouldn't that damage the threads?
As usual any help, comments or abuse appreciated!
