1.2-1.6mm sheet into tube ?

ok, so i need to make some stove flue for my wood burner.
I have the 3mm pipe for the collar on the stove, so how hard would it be to bend some 1.2 or 1.6 mm sheet to make the flue using 25mm sections of the 3 mm pipe that i have to keep the shape while i weld the tube ?
I dont have any bending equipment, but really dont want to pay the £40 a meter that most places want for flue pipe. im not that bothered about vitreous etc, I want to paint it the same as the stove, so I figured it would save money to weld my own pipe.
I do have some angle so I could make a small bender on the edge of my workbench using bolts and a couple of washers for the gap, but I really dont want bend marks on the pipe if that makes sense....
what is everyones thoughts on it ?

...you could try ratchet straps, or something similar, to pull the sheet into a round tube, around the 3mm CHS formers (use U shaped bits of metal {shoes} to stop the sheet from cutting into the straps). Tack it into place, along the length of tube, when done - seam weld...

...you could split the length of flue up into 1m or 500cm lengths, to reduce the scale of the job into bite sized pieces, by making use of overlapped joints (like an exhaust system joint)...

...or how about "The first 5 into 1 Flue"? That's 5 scaffold tubes, in parallel, coming off a collector above the burner outlet... It's never* been done before...

maybe il make that simple angle iron bender and try 500-1000mm lengths and fix them together, its not just a case of saving money, i want to do things for myself, i am new to welding and this is my first project,the stove is coming along, the wilding is ok, getting good penetration etc, just a little messy, thank god for grinding discs eh (im happy with it all so far, ive only done about 3 or 4 hours of welding so far, i read so much before i could see where i was going wrong straight away).
I guess I will have faint lines up the flue, not such a bad thing, i can always do it again if im not happy.

hmm spiral wrap sounds a good idea, i could use the 102mm x 3mm pipe as the former as this is the outlet on the stove, so the flue will sit outside the collar and i can clamp the flue to the collar for support....
