AND WERE UP AND RUNNING!!!!!
The turbo needs addressing there's either a pressure or airflow issue but she's running sweet with no leaks.
New intercoole and hardpiping added this week to finish the intake.
Still on my immediate to do list.
* Brake booster and purge lines need an in line 1...
No huge updates.... I've not forgotten about you guys or the project.
I ended up pulling out the entire engine loom and swapping it out for a fresh one that ran a standard ECU as the standalone had too much risk of not running right.
Tidied up some wiring and now time to get the real show on...
Two friends finally reunited.
Gearbox and engine final mated together.
A bit of plumbing to be done now with oil and fuel lines.
I've had a change of heart and thinking of pulling out this ECU and getting a new fresh section of loom in so I can install a new ECU.
I've had a look and it's...
Polyurethane bushings in place for engine and gearbox mounts and all brackets cleaned up
ECU relays found a new home and grounded
Internal MAP sensor for the ECU plumbed in
Ha... That's a future me problem
In other news,
3D printed centre console plate is in (some small adjustments to do) this houses my Accusump pressure gauge and shut off valve.
I tried to add some gucci parts but the radiator brackets I made are a little short so that's going to need to be...
Prepping to get the engine and gearbox back into the car this month I've a few bits to do.
I lost power to my dash, hazards wing mirrors etc and turns out my immobiliser had died so I had to pull that out
And yay that got me up and running there also it had killed power to the starter so...
A few pics of the car how it stands
Today I also made a start at getting the rear arches smoothed out after the welding repair and mounting the bumper flush.
I've purchased all new mounting hardware for the front and rear bumpers and arch liners which will all help tidy up the car nicely...
Today I tacled replacing the damaged AC cooler case causing the car to permanently blow hot air.
While I had the dash out I took time to tidy up some of the wiring behind the dash. I have just 3 aftermarket gauges and the amount of wires is insane primarily due to the excess length of harness...
PROGRESS
Final install of Accusump
There aren't any nicer pictures so sharing a pic of this mockup for the centre console. It needs to be tweaked a little before the final design is done.

Replace the washer jet...
Passenger side LCA adjuster bolt flange reshape & spot weld

Went to check the arches and how the Raptor liner went on. Adhesion seems great, colour matches the car well and I does seem really durable.
Suspensions going back on
Then this happened somehow FML
Today saw the gearbox rebuild come to a close.
This thing has been shimmed to an accuracy of 0.05mm which was a pain in the butt as I ended up buying 10-15 snap rings of each diameter for the 8 different ones used and then had to add some custom shims for the LSD when it went in.
So...
So the nasty pocket is no more!
You get the picture of what it was going to look like when done and the front arch was a simple fix only curve ball was that since it was the chasis rail it was 2mm but luckily I had a bit to hand so actually made things easier as its so much easier to weld...
