Bartering would be a good way to benefit each other and avoid taxes and everyone else who adds nothing to the process taking their skim off it even banks charging a few percent here or there for payments etc all add up and take money away.
I see looks like @argosheild may have on there I did not fit a braking resistor to mine so don't think I am much use but will have a hunt for what paperwork came with it and see if there's anything useful.
I will have to try it sometime, All my threading has been calm and coordinated taking my time lol. Will need to put the trust in the machine seeing that bounding along towards the chuck at high RPM
Ah yes I also had the two-speed motor one, It is wired in 16A 240v supply to a Single phase 240 to Three Phase 440v Chinese VFD. The two-way switching is done using the original Colchester switching gear which is wired in-between the VFD and the lathe motor to set either low or high speed...
Highly recommend this companys stuff, Our basic stores issue boots are the cheapest they could find that is S3 standard and killed my feet so I got these ordered in and wow what a difference most comfortable boots I've worn up to 15 hours in a day on feet still good and Goretex so always dry...

Interesting one here , Butcher switched over to running his emergency generator full time to save money, Would be interested to see the calculations on this if there's maintenance wear and tear included.
It would be even more efficient if you can use the heat from its cooling system.

When we are scraping asbestos gaskets etc at work we work on that wet down rule with spray oil etc, you shouldn't need to rely on the PPE to filter out asbestos as you keeping it wet the fibres won't become airborne, PPE is just for a last line of defence.
