I've always liked a jack capacity capable of lifting, in theory, complete vehicle.
Therefore 2t is generally minimum size i would use.
There is little to save both in physical size and cash terms going smaller
So to go back to original question, i would prefer a 3t jack to change a wheel on...
Yes i did some serious googling and found a pdf with those diagrams on a ferrari forum.
Thank you for your offer, i will continue playing for now, the gauntlet has been thrown down at me.
I also managed to get some movement in the outlet valve using a pin in through the bottom.
Attempting to...
UPDATE
It has been good and bad today......
Good news is i found my soldering iron :D
Bad news is upon further inspection, an inlet valve is stuck closed or blocked :(
Think the inlet was the initial problem with the outlet being an additional unknown for good measure'
Both are now soaking...
Got the filters off intact with a wee screwdiver.
Unfortunately it slipped out my fingers and tore the ribbon
Definitely be hard wiring something now, was deliberating doing the lot before this anyway.
Will scoosh it out with brake cleaner tomorrow and recheck operation
Yes that was to be my next move but the dinner bell rang earlier  Was deliberating whether pointy pliers, tweezers, small screwy, spudger.......
The dodgy one was a bit gunky when pulled, so wouldn't surprise me if issue was carp inside.
Still you have to preempt worst case scenario
It is an exhaust and resistance is measuring at 3.4 ohms, same as it's 2 neighbours.
Inlets all measuring 6.2 ohms.
I haven't disconnected the ribbons yet, soldering iron is somewhere safe that i've forgotten
I may be using wrong terminology.....
Yes the valve block is off. !2v applied to all 6 "valves" with 5 clicking happily.
Not had the chance to remove the filter screens to look behind yet
One of the solenoids in the valve/actuator block isn't working (no 12v clicky) after car being sat for a bit.
Before i go down my usual angry big effin hamster dismantling routine, does anyone know if the solenoids can be purchased, or is it a case of cannibalising another faulty unit?
Yes i...
Bit of a struggle to get better value than the Helfrauds Flavour, especially with tradecard.
Last few discount code offers i looked at also worked on top of the tradecard
The clip sits in the cv and is expanded to allow penetration....
Original cv was broken by the clip during removal as i had you use a joint puller and ugga dugga to get it to move even a midge's spherical merkin
And don't call me Shirley :p
