As Onoff said, I use a face mask but still end up pulling bits of swarf out of my hair,
Also got a Rigid cut off which has a much better guard, easier to use than the rage....... got the rage on a hinged frame fixed to the wall so convienent to set up when needed but if I have a few cuts to do...
This is giving me loads of smiles per miles, does what it should................. not a fan of the adventure bike thing, love the retros but cant see me doing miles on one......
Maybe it was more than £100, cant remember excly what I paid but it was on offer at the time....

Most of this type have a non latching button that you have to keep pressed in and the hydraulic lever far enough away that its a two handed operation... they dont trust us to keep our hands away from the ram ..... I bought the cheap one from Screwfix, has done a couple of years so far without...
I had a look at building one the other year, with the price of steel etc, was turning out very expensive. Ended up buying the cheap one from screwfix and building a trolley / stand for it. Must have split about 2-3 tons of wood so far, no issues, works well all for less than £100.
Anyone changed supplers lately..... had a quick look on comparison site and they arent offering any comparisons for now?
Im with Edf and about to come out of a fixed rate and they have offered me a variable rate or a new fixed rate....... both eye wateringly expensive of course...
Currently...
Remember guys that Scotland may be different from England in this respect, I get monthly checkups and pick up my prescription on the day, my Doc has offered to get mine posted out for me rather than having to wait for the results & meds to be made up so it can be done in Scotland.... I just wait...
Detailing is a rabbit's warren you don't want to go down... I keep my Pick up cleaner than the average bear but dont go too far ( in my opinion ;)) Anyway, snow foam, thats for getting as much grit dust etc off before you touch the paint with anything. Everytime you touch it you scratch it...
Suprisingly not the case, easy to use menus come up on the dash..... can be done on the move...... why not? Better than kneeling at the side of the road with spanners, like I said... its the future and why not move with the times...... woudn't go back to carrying bottles of oil and tools waiting...
I like mine, automaticaly adjusts when wifes on pillion or when I load up panniers, couple of clicks changes it from Auto to Soft for when I want more comfort. No more faffing about with C spanners...... its the future :D
I had a similar experience with my Tiger 1050, from new it was terrible, the throttle was an on / off switch, great fun in wet roundabouts ...... I downloaded a free program called tune ecu, and with an OSB II cable I could connect the bike to my laptop and change the maps. Loads of maps...
To be fair it was probably more me than the bike, I got arm pump and numb fingers, had grip puppies on it but still got numbness. The seat wasnt bad, I had the "comfort" seat and riding position was ok for wrists etc. Still ached after a long run, the RT is so different, I want to go the pub...
A lot of people are put off with the weight of the bigger bikes, but its the seat height that makes the difference. My Rt has the low seat option and I manage ok, 5 ft 8 and 29" inside leg (short ar$e). Was in the car park at Aberfoyle a while back, loads of guys watchin me when I reversed...
Not hub centric? Can you add to this, doesn't sound right. The disc should locate on a shoulder on the hub? Have you got the right discs.....
