Cheers for the replies guys, maybe the ones in B&Q were due to people abusing them. Looks like a few happy people with them here. The laser line was snapped off, the handles wobbled. I assume its people playing with them.
DrNik are you using a dewalt blade in a evolution saw?
In the market for a decent sliding compound mitre saw. I think I may be asking for the impossible here. In the process of buying a house, its a country style place that needs a fair bit of work so no worried about investing in the kit.
Need to cut wood - say 12" x 4" would be the biggest it...
No, my workspace is heated :clapping:
Then again I don't pay the bills. Going back for a refund, need a replacement sharpish so might see what gas and gear have to offer as I can't see many welding places being open tomorrow.
I was really looking forward to getting a dog as well ;)
It's an excuse to upgrade from the helmet I was using. Anyone got a recommendation for a helmet compatible with a hood, or at least one that doesn't have a massive hold on the top so light reflects on the inside of the screen - very...

Second tack...something not right.
Recheck the helmet on the strip light and half the LCD isn't...

If you can get at both sides then the need for mega amps diminishes.
Anyone got a name or "voucher code" etc that BOC that knows about this? Tried to get hold of it today and got a "never heard of it mate" line and told to go to a store to open an account.
Or should I just phone back and hope to get less of a numpty?
Thanks for that I'll take a look at them. It's not a massive problem but as I'm working in the week I'll probably get a cylinder while I'm out and about then.
Just means if I'm not that way for a while didn't want to have to make a special trip just to fill it up.
Comain aren't a million...
Moving on from disposables just a random question which I've searched for and cannot find the answer too.
If you've got a cylinder on a deposit basis from supplier A will most companies (not supplier A) refill it or are you tied to the original company to refil it (assuming they're not...
