So I have just stripped one down to show you , hopefully the photo uploads, yours will be slightly different - metric for a start !
Notice I unscrewed the ratchet, then the barrel comes off, on the main part you can see a split ring nut at the far right, turning this out will shift the barrel...
Robcox has it spot on, remove the end ratchet then the outside barrel can be removed, it is on a small taper, the actual inner measuring rod can be screwed in or out, and usually an outer ring can be adjusted , by adjusting these, you can set it to be both in-line (rotary) with the zero line...
Tried one of them there "sex chatlines" the other day, I asked what she was wearing, apparently it was just sexy panties - ridiculous, she should have been wearing a poppy at this time of the year!!!
For nails!
Do the steel ones work - I always thought the wood adsorbed a bit of the cuticle softener /remover and helped with the lifting.
(Julie - not Tony in this case!)
We use Dunlop winter sport maxx on the jag, how they compare to other winter tyres I don't know , used the various Dunlop winters for over 20 years now, I work on the basis that any from the bigger makes are going to be around the higher end of the whole range.
But I avoid the cheaper end of...
I think the standard type is just that, no-one would object to them being supplied with a new machine, and the're the cheapest option.
I think some may have poor experience of gas lenses with the very cheap ones off ebay, there isn't much of a cost difference but the ones by ck are just so...
I use gas lenses and see no reason whatsoever to go back to standard ones.
The only theoretical reason I can see is that the filter/mesh in a lens could get blocked but I don't think it's a practical issue
We bought the parweld xtt202p , it does everything we need and we are perfectly happy with it, it does come with an extended warranty now.
But, given the choice again, I think I would have preferred the jasic , I think it's a tiny bit better .
A friend has bought a really cheap ac/DC tig via...
In your case you need to use the other formula
7 x P x Z
--------------
72 x Y
So with P =5, you can choose whatever Z and Y you think will work.
Let's try 8 and 4 (as it looks about the best given the numbers, so
7 x 5 x 8 = 280
And
72 x 4 = 288
So, do you have gears to produce 280/288...
Is it the maths you are struggling with ?
If so, use a calculator or phone, in your example above you have - from the Colchester
7 x 12
----------
3 x 1 x 26
So 7 x 12 is 84 (use a calculator if you are not sure)
And 3x1x26 is 78 (again calculator if needed)
So the ratio of gears you need...
It's somewhat further , but motherwell does the same course for £105, same qualification (it's just Scottish credits -scqf stuff) and same time / duration of training

There is also one in the Edinburgh collage...
That's my point exactly, - openreach is the name I couldn't remember , the whole fibre to cabinet /copper wire to the property is on openreach infrastructure, so whichever provider you use via copper is a split responsibility, openreach infrastructure and whatever ISP you have internal in the...
We have just been through the same, bt are a complete waste of time and space when there are issues.
First they will blame the internals etc and when you insist on an "inside" engineer coming round - then they threaten you with an £80 charge "if the fault is not theirs.." when the engineer...
Brake or carburettor cleaner is not necessarily any issue with welding/heating.
Most of the ones now available in the UK do not have the issue, they also don't clean as well as the older ones!
The chemical which was used in b&p cleaner and is still the best for cleaning is...
That's my thoughts now, I am planning to evacuate each cylinder with a vacuum pump then transfer around 10-15 bar, test it, then top up as much as I can, repeat on all my cylinders , then use the main cylinder until I need to return it, then use the "banked" gas.
Tbh, there was gas in the...
