I have it. I only loaded the app on my phone so only I have control, and you can lock the thermostats to ensure others don't tamper with them. I've never bothered with the geofence capability as I don't see the point. I don't regret installing it, but I bought when it was on offer at Costco (but...
That is unlikely to work out :( in that way. Many flights will have to extended to fly around the restricted zones, and the removal of access to a number of airports will mean that some ETOPs flights will also be diverted causing additional distance, stops (landings/takeoffs). Add to this the...
On hardened components you need to be worried about hydrogen embrittlement if you use electrolysis. This wont be much of an issue on large components however.
I agree that you want the wedge to tighten as its pulled through the pulley. You also don't want the open ends to be able to ride up the pulley. I therefore vote A.
Mounted the Facet fuel pump on 2 Vauxhall rubeer fuel pump mounts and you can barely hear it from the inside of the car now. Done 3 weddings with the Cloud this week and 2 with both the Rolls and the Bentley (which we fitted new accumulators to for the braking system) and they both performed...
Facet cube pump is way too noisy! Will probably try and only use it as a back up. Going to try running new points one end of the SU pump and electronic the other. I suspect however the SU pump is past its prime and has mechanical issues or poorly coils.
The brakes worked well though, which...
Yes. The large master cylinder operates the rear cylinders and half the fronts. the smaller cylinder operates the other half the front. That gives you dual circuit to the front, none of which works when not driving because the servo works off the gearbox so it has a mechanical link to the rears...
This is the leaky mess we had to strip and rebuild.
So after scratching our heads (me and my Little Brother) we came up with the following solution.
We wanted to pressurise the system using the eezibleed kit. It worked on the RD but I had a spare cap so it was easy done.
So after...
I guess this is like the Mityvac. We did try a home built version using a glass jar and a vacuum, but no joy. It did work well on the front brake of my RD250 last time I used it.

This was an option. Getting the cylinders up into the chassis wasn't easy. If I had thought on before I would have done it, but taking out the assembly and starting again was bottom of the list of want to try.
Next time I will definately prime on the bench.

Just tried a jam jar with the pipe going into an inch of fluid and a vacuum over a hole in the lid to get a vacuum going in the jar. Still no joy.
Might try injecting into the master cylinder but they are both under the floor between the chassis crucifix so wont be easy.

Just rebuilt the master cylinders on the 1963 Silver Cloud III. Cleaned the reservoirs and replaced the flexible pipes on the feed side.
Struggling now to get them to pump any fluid. The design of the master cylinder is very similar to the RD250 I recently rebuilt. I struggled with that too...
Will do thanks. The drive shaft is only a year old. I damaged the gaitor when swapping lower wishbone. When I finished beating myself I got to looking at options!

I just bought a stretch kit for £10 from J&R CV Joints to fit to the wifes XC90 T6. The price included the cone, straps and grease. I have alway's taken the shafts apart in the past so this is a first for me!
