try also just searching for the model number of the oem makita battery you have.
in my limited experience the floureon batteries are ok, and they...
lovely things - anyone can weld with practice, it takes real natural flair and talent to make scrap out of the kitchen drawer actually look like a bird.
im a bit jealous really
what was the outcome on this mate?
rdg say m+w dont do spares which is a bit stupid if true, and the Mitutoyo pins from my buddys square don't fit my square :'-(
i have a 110 version of this http://www.screwfix.com/p/makita-ga5030-2-5-angle-grinder-240v/43608 and have hammered it for 18 months in a busy fab shop. body can be rotated (i have the switch on the top) and is nice and slim and 4.5" discs fit nicely as well. I will buy another if this gives up...
i have seen your various postings around the interweb and you have gone from a position of not knowing where to start on a lost cause, to showing 'how to' in a amazingly short period of time.
well done:clapping:
there is a dip tube (imagine a straw inside the bottle) which lets liquid co2 come out of the extinguisher vrom the bottom. the white stuff is frozen co2.
support the extinguisher upside down when in use and gas will come out instead - hopefully you will find this works much better.

unless its a 'special' car that you are restoring then your best bet is to join it all together however looks easiest/quickest.
you can be certain that whatever you do will be far more structurally sound than any 'garage' repair and it will not be seen anyway.
don't forget to have spotter and...
i used most of a 5ish litre can to brush paint the underside of a sunbeam (fiesta size) with two very thick coats and also to spray the engine bay - i probably had 1/2 - 3/4 litres left
i used between 10 and 20% thinners to get to a consistency that i liked and bought it via ebay from a ships...
i used jotun epoxymastic 87 with winter hardener on my project car and would use it again.
took a fair while to 'dry' hard - i was scared for at least a week or 3 as it still felt soft but when it went off completely it was as hard as nails and stuck like poo to a blanket:clapping:
i brushed...
Also:
I have been welding for a couple of years now and enjoying the process of slowly learning a new skill.
LEARN TIG
I bought a clarke 150 to get me started and it's done me fine but I find that I would sometimes like a bit more control on the voltage than the simple switches provide.
TIG...
you need to be clear what your budget is and exactly what you are looking to do.
if you want fine control then an inverter tig is the way forward probably, and then you will have two welders instead of one:clapping:
the clarke/sealey etc air powered joggler/punches are miles better than the hand powered things. i have done 2x sill replacements with joggled edges and doing it by hand would have been a very painful and slow process.
there is not a huge price differential either
bit of e-stalking indicates you are somerset based, bit far for you to pop over to me but maybe someone nearer can help you out.
also perhaps substitute cider/cider tokens for beer/beer tokens considering your location :drunk:
