Belt sander
Thank you and at 400 hours now it should look good. What was I thinking when I started this project. Well its almost done now and it was very fun.
I'm working on the guard today hopefully I will get something done on it today...

Vertical Welds
Hey Jim,
Jim to weld vertical its not hard just need to know somethings. When welding vertical also move side to side without slowing down in the center Stop for a second on the outside so it will hook up than move across to the other side without stopping in the middle...
I think you did a great job. The stainless looks real nice and will not rust in time. It's to bad that your friend had to do all of this to keep out the sorry people that steal. Thanks for posting Vernon:waving:
Guards for Base of sander
Started building guards for base Here is a picture of the frame also welded all of the guards today need to clean them and add wire mess next.

I was checking it out myself very simple way to move the drum. Where mine is much more to it. Both looks to work very well. Makes you think I made have went to far over the top:D Thanks Vernon:waving:
