Hi guys just making a workbench from an old steel frame but Im tired of using cheap vapormatic paint which I used on my tractor and trailer as its easily scratched what paint can I use.

Finally abit of good luck, I took the diesel pump to a specialist for testing last week and it turns out that the recon pump was faulty so I managed to replace it from the same bloke and today it finally fired up after 30 years, heres a little video which I took this morning...
just been making cider a few weeks ago but ive got an old beech and cast iron cider press the only problem is you have to chop the apples up first and the only way i can do this is buy cutting each apple up individually and then putting them into a blender which take ages :mad::mad:

ive had the pump off yesterday and put it in the vice and pusg the cup underneath and it was pumping diesel when i pored some in, but on the injector diesel was only coming out as liquid not as a mist and when i adjusted the injector the diesel wouldn't pump out at all.
if the pump is pumping...
its a reconditioned pump, basically ive bled it like this:
Diesel from tank flows to filter
then flows into the side of the pump where theres a bleed screw
so undone that until diesel flows out fast
then i tighten the screw
then undo the injector pipe on top of the pump and prime...
I need some serious help otherwise the petter is going in the scrap, its the worst project ive ever had typical british made rubbish :mad:, basically ive connected all the fuel pieps on, filter is on and pump is on, ive bled the fuel system of air all the way up to the injector but when you...

CREOSOTE, and not the cheap substitute, no the proper burn anything kill anything creosote otherwise your pine will rot within a few years :laughing:
for starters how much are unimogs, the cheapest ive seen is 10k which was 30 yr old and knackered, secondly my neighbour has a pickup registered as a farm vehicle and he cant travel more than 2 mile on the road.
I haven't bought this welder but I do buy the sanders, drills and routers from aldi and they last longer than other cheaper tools such as nutool but they dont last forever but the cost half the price, i would say have ago and you should have a 3 year warranty with it anyway.

well Ive been busy welding :welder: together the frame and welding wheels underneath, also used the grinder AGAIN! and wirebrushed the frame before using cold zinc primer which looks alot harder stuff than red oxide, and also put 1 coat of petter green on the frame
