i have a 8-9 year old clarke 250 turbo, when i depress the trigger the mig welds as normal, on releasing the trigger the weld stops but gas flows permanently. Any advice??
Only kidding. Give the gas valve a firm tap. If it starts working, i.e. the gas flow stops, take the valve to bits. There may be a bit of grit (or PTFE tape) in there jamming the piston open, or stretch the spring a bit. If you can't get the valve to bits, a new one or summat that will do the job, won't cost much.
Let's get this straight. I'm happily married with five kids. I don't sit here like a saddo waiting to talk to people. The wife's out and the kids are watching High School Musical. That's all it is. Just coincidence. I could have been out...
No it's just freezing fog here (near Hexham). The wife's gone down to Mickleton (Co Durham) to see her favourite band and she says her jets have frozen over. She took my van with it's heated windscreen so she'll be OK.
I'm based near Penrith but work mainly in Carlisle. My van was frozen up all day old escort heater are OK when the engines hot but take 15 to warm up! It started to try snowing but gave up and its freezing fog here today.
