The lights on my car are poor so looking in the garage I've found an old lamp that might improve night driving. It's a 1 candle power - literally There is a single candle that is spring loaded to it is constantly pushed upwards.
Anyway it's covered in surface rust so I'm wondering best method of cleaning it off so I can repaint and mount on a display plinth. Not sure of age - could be anything from 1880's to 1920's from what I can find out about such cycle lamps.
