A mate of mine in London has recently moved to a rented house and the only place he has to store bikes is a small wooden shed in the front garden just about big enough for two bikes. He doesn't have the room to store them in the house with two young ankle biters. The bikes are decent but not flashy or particularily expensive but dear enough not to want some scum stealing them.
It has a wooden base so my immediate idea was to get a road plate similar size to the inside base of the shed and some big thick steel rings welded through them. It won't stop somebody with an angle grinder but should stop most toerags if decent chain/locks used. Maybe a lock box over the rings.
Any better ideas? If not does anybody know anybody near Richmond/Twickenham that could fabricate it for him?
Cheers
Andy
