I need to invest in a decent welding table. Alot of my work requires awkward jigging and I am fed up on trying to make flat surfaces and jigs. It is only ever TIG now.
I am down to a choice between the Divano Basic 16 (same as siegmund) or the Stronghand Build Pro, as used by 'welding tips and tricks'.
Either option will set me back around £1500 with VAT/Delivery and a very small selection of clamps/stops.
Does anybody have any opinions between these two?
- The Stronghand one seems quite versatile, allowing the separate plates to be expanded, and standard G-clamps can fit around it. It also seems very sturdy. i would get the 800x1200 size
- But the German Divano is one single piece and could be better made (German, not Chinese made), especially the clamps. It is also metric and not bloody imperial! But it is not as 'heavyweight'. Size would be 1160x1000.
Both could be expanded if I get the chance in the future.

What do you reckon?
Have I missed some viable options? Must be a ground surface, with clamping provision in the middle.
