Hi all, i forgot to post here first but here it is...better late then never ay!
I'm new to welding and have just brought a second hand Clarke 110EN from ebay, and after reading loads of tutorials, and watching loads of youtube vids, i'm itching to get started! Its set up with flux core atm, which is fine as i have no choice but to work outside, until i can get my house move sorted.
Hopefully the welder will be here within the next couple of days, along with the auto darkening mask and gauntlets that Ive ordered.
The main reason i wanted a welder is that i was getting fed up with having to pay other people to do it for me. I'm fixing up old motorbikes on a pretty tight budget, patching exhausts etc, and i'm hoping to make a business of it. So learning to weld feels like a natural progression, and the more i'm learning about the art, the more i think i'm going to enjoy it.
Thanks
