Once again Bilt Hamber comes to the rescue. I use a lot of their Etchweld, and IMO its brilliant. Its a primer, and I use it on anything that gets hot too. Engine blocks, aluminium gearbox casings etc.There's a thought. I'd heard of it, but I'd forgotten of its existence!
The problem with the jacking points is their positioning on the vehicle. Right behind the wheel, and an open box that gets rammed full of mud, which remains damp for months. Its always the nearside that is worse.
