I remember a member on here saying he rung them up and they just replaced it without sending it back,i didnt get that option
I've had to claim twice on Aldi warranties - once for an angle grinder that just locked solid. I just emailed them a scan of the receipt and a week or so later a new one arrived at the door. They weren't interested in having the old one back, so that might be handy for spares.
