When we spoke to the water board about our 300psi, their response was that they were in the business of supplying water, no water their problem, too much hard luck. We were on the main line from the pumping station to a village 600 foot up! One of our neighbours came in one day to see the washing machine hose blown up like a balloon, he said he couldn’t believe it would stretch that far. Since then, all the mains have been changed & the pressure is down to more sensible levels.Over 10bar is waterboards problem as nothing domestic is designed or warranted above that, I have a site that regularly exceeds 9 but never had above 10, in all the years I've debt with it it's caused a problem with 1 boiler.
