More redundancy. The chances of enough failures to make a safe landing impossible reduces with the number of engines: same as 4-engine planes vs. single engine.
Is his brother a Nigerian Prince currently languishing in Jail awaiting donations that will net you $15m?!Just found this one on you tube,, African bloke & it actually flew, big cojones for sure!
Then there is this one,, Thank me later.
I was flying the microlite coming in for a landing at about 400 foot and nearly crossed paths with an airliner at same height. he was landing at teeside and me at croft .was only about 100 yards off him the passengers were waving at me.normaly they go out to sea then come in and land but hardly any wind so they came strait in saving fuel and both runways are in line.I was once jumping at a DZ near St Neots , think there was 3 micro lights possibly more ,probably from Gransden that had a bit of a shock when several parachutes opened just in front of them .

And a chat with the CAA! (which is preferable to the AAIB!)That would get your attention, right enough.
we used to fly captain cooks monument and Ingleby bowl hangliding. mid week we phoned r.a.f leeming up telling them our expected heights and grid refrence .regular the tornadoes flew underneath us one would come from behind and put the sh....ts up you when it passed under then you waited for the second one as they generaly flew in pairs ten seconds later .the pilots are realy something else when flying low to the ground at one hell of a speed supposedly at 300 foot half it would be a more accurate figureThat would get your attention, right enough.
visual flight rules and outside of teeside airspace . there radar can pick you up and they can tell if your flying in there airspace. as long as you stopped to one side of the railway you were clear of it. further down the line you entered leeming airspace but you could fly to Northallerton before being in it . airlaw counts you don't just fly willy nilly and hope for the bestAnd a chat with the CAA!
