or have people been asking silly prices for secondhand kit on Ebay, since around the time the lockdown happened? Only looked on there a few times over the last several months, but prices always seem insane.
My biker mate told me today that prices of 125's have gone up by £1000 on average. Since lockdown loads more people are applying for their first bike license & 125's are now in short supply!
The bigger concern are people who have had a bike license for years and not been on one in the last decade. It really is a perishable skill.

I used to be an immortal riding god......Yep, the older I get the better I was.

Yes, but there's been high demand for DIY/hobby tools and materials.
That applies to me, and despite the fact I spent 10yrs riding for a living, I realise that those days are over. The bigger concern are people who have had a bike license for years and not been on one in the last decade. It really is a perishable skill.

I would get a cheap old combination to potter around on, a Urinal or even a Jawa 350..if you weren't obliged to wear a lid, that would just ruin it. The sidecar passenger(s) don't need a helmet however stupid law.
Been looking at Van's recently & some of the prices are ridiculous for the age, condition & mileage! But someone will happily pay over the odds for things which aren't worth their value
