Mines a little slower as the oil in the pump is a bit heavy but it’s all I have at the moment. How long does it take to put a hole in a 10mm piece?
I normally have to mess about with increasing drill bit size
brundles ready punched bar....i used to make all my own then gave that up as a bad job hahaNever seen one before. I have to repair the railings (again ) after a numpty ran out of driving talent, seems a good excuse to buy one on those punches, has to be better than drilling hundreds of holes

I just recently punched 16mm holes in some 8mm thick 316 Stainless plate, it was on its limits but much faster than drilling.Neat holes from these punches...I use a mag drill but these are quicker and probably the die doesn't break as easy as core drills do when the piece you drill vibrates a little or the mag plate doesn't stick too well due to paint, etc...
That’s the reason I looked at this set up, an iron worker is way to expensive for me where as this set up was much less than £500 including a handful of spare punchesI think this has some potential for my trade I'm looking for a iron worker but this looks like it could do for a few years till I can find one for a good price
It’s handy as I go on site with it, park my van next to the steels and punch away. With a 100mm throat it can handle most jobsNever knew something like that existed its certainly on my to buy list I think I can use that for some stuff I do in the structural steel industry
