We had a 3 gang lightswitch downstairs in the hall. On the opposite side of the wall was the switch for the WC. Daughter (5) doesn't like going into the room without the light on first and always asks one of us.
Doing the Dad thing, i drilled between back boxes, fed the WC light cables through, blanked off the WC switch and put a 4 gang switch on the outside so everything can be switched from one point.
All worked except the hall light. I now realise this switch is an intermediate switch, and although has the same terminals as a two way, its workings must be different. I'd rather not have a 4 way grid switch here - what do i look for to find a 'normal' four gang, 2 way switch, with one of them being an intermediate...or will i only get them as grid switches?
Range is Hager Sollysta.
Can't really leave it how i have it at the moment..
