I've decided to treat myself to one of those fancy flex head CK superflex torches to make my tigging journey a little more enjoyable. I've got the 26 torch that came with the machine, but want something a little more manageable.
Initially I considered a 17 might be a good compromise between size and still have sufficient headroom to be used for general purpose, a one size fits all torch. With a stubby kit to reduce the size I didn't think there would be much point going for a 9.
However, weighing up the cost of the stubby consumables, I'm now debating if it is worth just going with a 9 and a 17 instead, or ditching the 17 and just having a 9 and the original 26 size tree trunk. What’s more useful?
I appreciate it really depends on what you use it for - but does anybody have any advice or feedback on the most sensible route to go?
