Has anyone had any experience in fixing cat s cars ..straightening or replacing chasis legs etc ,im not wanting to do it myself im just interested and would like to learn more about it
So buying a cat S car is worth it ,i was unsure on how hard it was to do ..so the aim is to have the chasis level and square..Was a panel beater for best part of 10 years.
Jig if properly bent.
Dozer if needed a tweak.
Post and chain or forklift if they are not available.
All depends on how its hit and how folded it is. Have to evaluate every impact individually as all cars fold differently.
Plenty of decent videos on YouTube of repairing salvage vehicles now.
