......reminds me of an issue I had with my car a few years ago due to radio frequency interference, and thats a 30 year old car using a carburettor and no ECU. I decided to make some new spark plug leads but used solid copper wires rather than the high restance carbon wires. turns out that the copper wire was inducing a current into a oil pressure sensor wire , so that at odd times my oil pressure light would come on when driving over a certain speed. took me ages to work out what the issue was and glad that I ignored the flashing warning light as there was nothing wrong with the engine......still havn't worked out why the coolant light has been randomly flashing for the last 10 year, but I think thats just character on an older car.
