The original blade supplied with my FEMI 784XL died a couple of weeks ago; it snapped but up until then had lasted very well and remained relatively sharp. I replaced it with an M42 bi-metal blade from Tuff Saws and sadly I've been left rather disappointed with it being unable to last more than a dozen or so cuts on 60 x 60 x 5 mild steel square box section. I've used Tuff Saws extensively for woodcutting bandsaw blades and never been disappointed, these metal cutting blades were a couple of pounds each cheaper than the OEM ones from Stakesys.
Would anyone be kind enough to suggest other sources of blades, or best advice just be stump up and buy a few of proper ones from Stakesys..?
