Well it’s that one of year again, suns out and the grass is getting long!
Mower started first pull which I was happy with seeing as I didn’t bother draining the carb and stuck 12 month old fuel in it!
Last year when I moved in my house the garden was REALLY over grown, couldn’t even access parts of the garden due to horrible spikey stuff coming out from everywhere.
I don’t mind mowing the grass but I really need a low maintenance garden.. mine looks like it was once a well kept mature garden that just ran wild due to neglect. Part of it used to be a vegetable garden too.
What I’d like is to tear a lot of the stuff up and have as much lawn as possible, but even the ‘grass’ that is already there is mostly weeds just cut short, and the ground itself is pretty rough.
This is just a small part of it but the rest is the same.
How can I go about achieving a nice grassy lawn? I literally want to dump weed killer on everything, hire a rotivator to flatten the ground and then seed.. but there must be a better way no?
