Saw this on the r-tech facebook feed. Four years ago I said I didn't need a plasma cutter and now I have one. Two years ago I said I didn't need a lathe and now I have one. Last year I said I didn't need a mill and now I have one.

I absolutely do not need a CNC plasma cutter, right?!
Mind you, if I dropped £5k on a thing like this then the next question would be "I absolutely do not need a wife, right?"...

I thought you'd have at least 3 with all the work you do in the Mormon state of Utah?

Not big enough for you @skotl you need at least 10 ft by 5 ft table to get 8 by 4 sheets on there with ease!

Hold out for a bigger one.

Also on the wife part, you must consider that you can not cuddle up to a plasma machine in the night. Unless, that is you have to spend the rest of your time sleeping in the garage, in which case a 10 by 5 table might be your bed!!!.

Surely that would be a good thing, as it will do what it's told rather than windows 10 telling you what to do then confuseing its self then crashing.

If it was up to me I'd bring back windows 98SE

New plasma will come with a smaller and easier to read instruction book and if you keep the reciept you can take it back if it doesn't work

My track record with wife's isn't very good.............

Bang it on the credit card and make it future skotl's problem! When the wife ask's just tell her it belongs to a friend and you're only storing it for them. I'm almost 100% sure it'll work.............................

If you get the plasma cutter and you loose the old kit. Plasma cutter and wife. You could always make a cut out wife on the plasma cutter.

Plus if you get into cnc then it will be a new cnc lathe and a new cnc mill. It will never end.........................................

I don't care how much the plasma table costs, It will be cheaper than a wife,
