Anyone know what these left over pieces could be used for?

Since I'm a bit plentiful of whats needed of fire extinguishers, I been cutting them up and using some of the steel for projects. I had actually thrown these tops in the scrap bin but then retrieved again. Anyone have any ideas for the leftovers? Especially the pieces on the vice. So far I have thought on...drum for a winch...ashtray...plant pot...drinking goblet...jam dish for setting on the table, but I have no use for any of these things. Ideas most welcome.

The one on the vice, cut V s out all around leaving castelated V s sticking up, get torch on heat up and fold down to make a rim/flange for decorative garden planter, you get the idea, variations on V shape ae infinite really.

Even if you're not sure what to do with them now, pop them somewhere out of the way. If you ever need something that shape, it'll be really tricky to make.

Oh the joys of dead fire extinguishers.
I bet you loved the smell of the rubber/plastic lining.

Below are a few ideas I do with the ones I recycle from work.



Storm Kettle.
This one is being burnt clean, they will boil 5 pints of water in approx. 10 to 15 mins. Depending on wood.




Ash shovel, cut bend, weld.



Fire Basket. This one just needed burning clean.

The one in the back ground is my Ferrous metal recycling pot.

Stick a flat strip handle on it, and season it with veg oil, and get a mini frying pan, or saucepan.
