This morning my wife places her nice (even I like it) leather bag on top of my laptop as she gets ready for work. I needed to check some work of my own, so I moved it to the side.
TO THE WRONG SIDE.
The kitchen counter is slightly warmer next to the laptop (over the boiler) and that would ruin the bag. Ruin it. Whatever. She removes it from the room. There is a shriek 5 minutes later. She'd put the bag on the couch and the pup had decided that was a good time to check out the taste of the handle/strap thing. A couple of teeth marks. Of course it was all my fault for making her move the bag and not keeping an eye on the dog, who was in another room. I know I have a bit of a squint, but even I can't see around corners. The pup and I are in the bad books.
